The brief: Titian Studios of London have a long and illustrious history as one of the world's most renown antique restoration studios, so we were delighted when they approached Hero Digital for a new website. The requirements included the need to add far more information about products and services, the ability to display a wide-ranging number of images on most pages and a way of displaying their latest news.
Our solution: Creative design was to remain true to their current look and feel so most of our efforts were centred around reorganising the products into user-friendly groups, in providing easy to use image galleries on the main services pages, in creating a News page with full Content Management via a secure client login and in recommending a dedicated page to feature their recent appearances in the recent BBC show, Restoration Roadshow.

The brief:Secure IT is a fast growing independent Data Centre solutions provider with extensive experience providing secure I.T. accommodation across both Private and Public sectors. The guys at Secure IT approached us with a brief to modernise their look and feel and to also add far more functionality to the new site; allowing them the space to display their green credentials, to create somewhere to display latest news and the ability for their clients to access the latest industry white papers directly from the site.
Our solution: We totally redesigned their logo and created a whole new, fresh and modern look. The Home page received a live news feed with a combination of in-house and RSS feeds. New pages included Green Grid for green issues, a fully Content Managed News page with secure client login and a Content Managed Downloads page for PDF's of industry white papers.

The brief: AcquisitionRe is a recently launched City-based reinsurance firm that deals in the specialised world of buying insurance run-offs from other firms. As a new business, the guys at AcquisitionRe wanted a small and effective site that displayed their key information in a business-like manner.
Our solution: A small but effective communications tool that clearly informs and reassures. The site needed to display imagery that conveyed their two offices, in The City and New York, but also the ability quickly grow to accommodate more pages and functionality. Design was limited to blocks of colour in a bold but understated manner.

The brief: To design and build a new website for McSherry Brown, a well-regarded search and selection agency who specialise in international placements of senior technical officers. As this was their first website, it was important to create a strong online brand that would stand out from the competition and carry across design-wise to their off-line activities. It was also important that the website was authoritative yet had a fresh and informal look and feel.
Our solution: We designed a bright and colourful look, using abstract shapes, fresh colours and clear icons, giving the site a unique and memorable personality. We also designed and built an RSS news page with a single-line feed on the home page, to add fresh content and give users a reason to return.

The brief: An extension to the main campaign site for Desperados, which we built earlier in the year. This was a microsite to be used as an online destination for various offline activities, with video and images from promotional activities. The site to act as a staging post for potential viral campaigns and to be separated (in terms of content and access to events) from the main Desperados website.
Our solution: A fully animated flash-based website with its own bespoke media player, which lets users upload and play video and images. It also has various competition pages with data-capture facilities and auto-export of data, and a downloads page with a number of rich internet applications for users to download to their desktops, like the Desperados Clock...

The brief: To design and build a bespoke website for the UK charity recruitment market, to be used by Advice UK (a leading advice charity). This brief called for content management, multi-level login access for various administrators, sophisticated search functions and automated email notification of new vacancies. It also had to be fully accessible for the public sector, to allow for people with disabilities.
Our solution: A clean and accessible design, with strong colour contrasts and clear use of space, to assist users with visual impairments. We included a very sophisticated search engine that searches and filters results across various factors. The site's content is managed via our own CMS (content management system) to allow Advice UK to implement changes to images and copy as required and has the facility to auto-send HTML branded emails (which we designed and built) to registered applicants whenever a new position is posted.

The brief: To build an animated website for the UK launch of Desperados Beer (part of the Heineken Group). It had to feature complicated animated sequences; appeal to the target audience; give them a reason to visit on a regular basis; incorporate data capture mechanisms; and be sufficiently interesting for users to recommend it to friends.
Our solution: We designed and created complex, animated images in flash, built a bespoke image library from scratch and created competition pages with data capture. Best of all, although the site is highly animated, it still loads in seconds!
